Former Real Madrid midfielder, Luis Figo, has admitted that Gareth Bale would be a brilliant signing for Los Blancos in the summer transfer window. He claimed that the Welsh international has great potential to succeed at a club like Real Madrid and stated
that the winger will shine if he takes the transfer to the Spanish giants.
Figo claimed that Bale has proved his worth over the past few years at Tottenham Hotspur and admitted that this is the chance for the player to take the next big step in his career.
“Everybody talks about it. He has impressive qualities. [We] would have to see how they work in La Liga coming from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749, but I think they fit well to Madrid,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.

However, he stated that there has been no contact from Los Blancos until now but he admitted that if there is an offer, the winger would certainly consider it. He added that the player still has three years left on his contract and the future still has to
be sorted out.
“If Florentino Perez is interested in Gareth Bale it would be an honour and we would listen, but his contract is with Tottenham. We are not free to speak with anybody at the moment, that's where we are. I don't know if there has been any offer, what I know
is that the player has three years left on his contract,” he concluded.
Gareth Bale has a staggering season for Tottenham Hotspur. He scored a sensational 26 times in the 44 games he played in all competitions for the London-based club and was the English Premier league’s third highest goalscorer behind the likes of Manchester
