Luis Figo warns Barcelona of complacency against Shakhtar Donetsk in Champions League quarter-final
Former Barcelona player Luis Figo has warned Barcelona that Shakhtar Donetsk are a difficult team to beat and their challenge should be taken seriously.
The Catalan giants are facing Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final.

It has been publicised that Barcelona have been handed a straightforward fixture considering other heavyweights in the competition, however, Figo has warned his former side that Shakhtar Donetsk are no pushovers.
Figo said, “Shakhtar are constantly evolving. Their side has many Brazilians, who are comfortable on the field and play together very well. This team will not be easy to play (against).”
Figo admits that Barcelona are favourites against Shakhtar Donetsk but feels individual players will have to use all their experience and trickery.
“It is possible that the fate of the match with Barca will be won by individuals, those who can use their experience and presence on the pitch,” he added.
In recent years, Barcelona have emerged as a dominant football team on both domestic and European fronts. The Catalan club is looking to add to back-to-back Spanish La Liga titles to their trophy cabinet as they are currently on top of the Spanish League
in the ongoing 2010-11 season. In Europe, Barcelona won the UEFA Champions League in 2009 and at present, have reached the quarter-final stage.

On paper Barcelona are clearly a better team, however, there is no room for complacency as Shakhtar Donetsk are not an easy prey. This was evident from their 6-2 aggregate win over Italian side Roma when the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032 side played some attacking football and
outplayed their Italian opposition.
The first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final will be played at Nou Camp on 6 April, 2011.
