The Columbian international spent the last year on-loan to Lecce, and has been called back by the Zebrette to feature in the upcoming season.
Muriel pointed out that his inclusion into Udinese squad has proved to be miraculous for him, as he has scored more goals in the pre-season friendly with his team than he scored in the last whole year at Lecce.
The Zebrette striker insisted that while he is open to play in any position required of him by Guidolin, he would relish the opportunity to play alongside Di Natale in the attack.
While talking to the club’s official side, the 21-year-old said:
“I scored seven goals at Lecce. In pre-season with Udinese I’ve already scored 10 and hope to get many more in the campaign itself. I also hope to play alongside Di Natale, as I can learn so much from him. I will play in whichever position Francesco Guidolin
wants me to.”

The Zebrette attacker insisted that survival will be the first priority for Udinese, and insisted the club will look to target higher grounds once they have ensured their distance from the relegation zone.
The former Granada-man also insisted that the club will also give importance to their UEFA Champions League qualifying in the upcoming season.
“Guidolin is a great Coach, as he says things to your face. Our target for the season is to get 40 points as quickly as possible, then we’ll see what happens after that. Before then, we’ve got the Champions League preliminary round, which of course is our
first thought.”
