Manchester United winger and Portuguese international, Luis http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Antonio-Valencia-c6345 this coming season.
Manchester United completed the capture of Ashley Young from Aston Villa, this summer. Ever since his arrival at the club, the player has been looking to impress his new team and somehow ensure a spot for himself fin the steam’s staring eleven. The winger
has been participating in United’s pre-season tour and has so far looked highly impressive.
Valencia on the other hand has managed to become an important part of the United squad and apart from constantly picking up ankle injuries, is bound to be in contention for a starting spot.
Nonetheless, Nani seems adamant on the fact that the addition of Young is only going to help the team, as it is going to make sure everyone busts out and performs to their full potential. The player also went on to admit with the high level of competition
that he now has to face, he will be looking to go all out and reach his true potential.
Nani is quoted to have said: “The competition is good”
“It inspires you. If you have competition, you will train harder and push yourself in every game.
“At Manchester United, you have to be ready every time you go on the field.
''Of course I can get better. That is what I am trying to do. It is not easy but it is what I look to achieve every year.
“If I can get more goals and more assists, that will be good for the team and help us in all the competitions we are going for.”
The player then went on to add that this coming season was going to be a real test for the team, considering the fact that nearly every other team had managed to improve their squad and were now competent title contenders. He stated that United would be
looking to get a good start this time around and hopefully, no one would be able to catch up with them.
Nani ended by stating: “All the teams are getting stronger and trying to be much better. We have to match that.”
It seems like the level of expectation has gone up a couple of notches at Old Trafford. The players are looking to peak their potentials and are also looking to try and give the best that they can week in and week out.
This new dedication, is bound to help out United and considering they now face tough completion from their rivals, this inside competition might also prove to be the factor that helps them edge towards victory.
