Suarez will not shy away from shaking Evra’s hand to fulfil his side of the responsibility to make up for the negative side of the game that has been highlighted recently in the Premier League...
Kenny Dalglish, the Liverpool manager has come out and revealed that his team’s striker Luis Suarez will shake hands with Patrice Evra in the build up to Manchester United’s match against Liverpool regardless of the incident that
took place earlier on in the season at Anfield when United visited Merseyside. Both Suarez and Evra were involved in a spat at Anfield, in the aftermath of which Evra reported Suarez to the Football Association for racial abuse.
Consequently, the F.A banned Suarez for eight matches in the English Premier League due to his rant which was directed towards Evra. The racial undertones in this situation were not ignored by the media and now as Suarez is set
to make his comeback for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809, his first real test will be to perform against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Kenny Dalglish said in his interview, “Everyone involved, including the media, the supporters and both teams have a responsibility to ensure this weekend is remembered as a cracking game of football between two very good sides,
rather than for anything else. I thought everyone involved in the FA Cup tie at Anfield played their part in making sure that the match was played in the right way, so let's make sure that happens again this weekend.”
He added, “I'm sure people will want to talk about Luis Suarez. But he accepted his ban, served his suspension and returned against Spurs on Monday. It's time for all of us to draw a line under what happened and move forward. People
are already speculating on the pre-match ceremony, but from Luis's point of view we have spoken to him and I know he will shake the hand of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Patrice-Evra-c29231 and the other Manchester United players before the game.”
