The Bayern Munich midfielder is confident that his side can get the better of the reigning German champions and is hopeful of a successful season ahead.
The Bavarian giants have been in sensational form of late and have reached the semi-final of the UEFA Champions League after downing Olympique Marseille in the last eight clash with a 4-0 aggregate.
The Munich based outfit is currently three points behind Dortmund with six games to go until the end of the season. Jupp Heynckes’ side can go level on points with the Borussians if they emerge victorious in next week’s clash at
the Signal Iduna Park. The fixture is being touted as a potential title decider considering the top two teams are involved.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gustavo-c15404, who is suspended for the game against FC Augsburg, claimed that he will be ready for the clash against the Dortmund giants next week. The player insisted that it is a do-or die situation for his team and anything but a
win would not be enough.
The midfielder admitted that winning at the Signal Iduna Park will never be easy as Jurgen Klopp’s team plays brilliantly at home. He stressed that three points will do good for his side and a win would mean that Bayern will have
a great chance of regaining the Bundesliga title.
“I'm fired up for every game. Unfortunately I'm suspended against Augsburg but I'm back against Dortmund and we will give everything. We play Augsburg on Saturday and we must not underestimate them. But, we also want the three
points and we are all motivated. We have a good chance of having a very successful season,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The Brazilian international expressed his delight on winning against Marseille in the quarter-final of the Champions League. He admitted that the win will give the team confidence ahead of the game against Dortmund and is confident
that Bayern can win the treble this season.
“I'm happy for the whole team. We are on track and have a lot of confidence. We want to savor every game for the rest of the season,” he concluded.
Bayern Munich will take on FC Augsburg at the Allianz Arena on Saturday, April 7.
