Luka Modric backs Gareth Bale move to Madrid – Football News
Croatian midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luka-Modric-c22857, recently revealed that he is going to stay out of the Spanish capital-based club and now he is of the opinion that Los Blancos should sign the Tottenham star, Gareth Bale.
Bale, who has been priced even at 100 million Euros by the French club, PSG, is expected to join the Spanish giants, Real Madrid, during the summer transfer window.
This move has a lot of things attached to it, including the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo from the Madrid-based club.
Ronaldo has revealed that he does not want to stay in Real Madrid and would like to join his former employers, Manchester United, in the Premier League.
This season did not go out as planned as Jose Mourinho did not win a single trophy with Real Madrid. While many thought that the Portuguese mentor will bring success and trophies to the European giants, he was
unable to do so.
The Croatian midfielder played with Gareth Bale when the two were together in the North London giants, Tottenham Hotspur. The partnership was absolutely deadly and they always caused problems for the opponents.
However, things will be quite different this time round. Modric is not a first-team priority for Real Madrid but http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cristiano-Ronaldo-c9629, who is expected to leave.
Modric has recently said in an interview that he is looking forward to playing with Gareth Bale once again and believes that he will be a great addition to the team. Bale can easily replace the Portuguese star,
Ronaldo, because he is also capable of scoring from free-kicks. Moreover, he also has the ability to turn game on its head.
Luka Modric might get the chance to play in the Real Madrid first-team in almost every game in case Bale joins them. However, the high price tag might not allow him to join Los Blancos as he has been over-rated
by several different European club, including the likes of PSG, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan, AC Milan and Real Madrid’s rivals, Barcelona, who were also favourites to land the Welshman.
