Arsenal forward and German international, Lukas Podolski, has gone on to pledge his future to the Gunners, as he has gone on to dismiss rumours which were linking him with a move out of the club.
The forward went on to join the North London club at the start of the season, however, over his first season with the club, he went on to set a new record for being the player to get substituted the most number
of times.
Many felt that this would cause the player to leave the club but that is not the case, as Podolski has insisted that he has no intention of leaving the team.
The forward is reported to have said, "I feel very comfortable and I am completely satisfied with my first year in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749"
"I have no intention to leave the club. Rumours are rumours and I cannot stop them."
The player has gone on to score eleven goals in the Premier League this season, which is rather impressive, considering the fact that he spent most of his time on the left wing for the team.
However, the most impressive feat that the player has achieved is that he managed to score four goals in the Champions League, in just six appearances for the team. His experience proved to be vital for the team
in Europe and the Gunners will be hoping for him to recreate the same form next season.
Podolski had been linked with a move to Juventus and Galatasaray, since it was generally believed that he was not happy with the position he was being played in and because of the fact that he got substituted
so many times.
Nonetheless, with Olivier Giroud getting a red card in the dying stages of the season, Podolski was given the opportunity to play up front. He managed to produce some decent performances, but it is safe to say
that he is going to be looking to improve even further for the coming season.
It is now a wait to see just how the German international performs for Arsenal in the coming season.
