Lukasz Fabianski wants to reclaim number one spot at Arsenal – Premier League Update
Arsenal goal keeper, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wojciech-Szczesny-c36998 being promoted to
the team’s number one keeper.
Last season Fabianski came into the starting eleven, following a series of poor performances from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Manuel-Almunia-c23386. He then went on to impress everyone and took over on a permanent basis. However a shoulder surgery later, the keeper was dropped out of the
team and Szczesny was given the chance to prove himself. Based on the brilliant performances that Szczesny produced, Arsene Wenger went on to appoint the youngster as the team’s official number one.
Despite that being the fact, it appears as though Fabianski isn’t too pleased with the way things are moving about at the club and wishes to reclaim his spot. However, he does not want things to be handed to him on a plate and is willing to fight to reclaim
his spot.
Fabianski when talking about the situation that he finds himself in is quoted to have said: "I am fighting hard, really hard"
He then went on to add that he now feels like he is full fit, which is why he is more than willing to fight for his spot in the team once again.
"Since we came back from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 I can say I have been fully fit. Now I am ready to play.
"It has been a difficult time for me because I was No.1 last year and I lost it due to my injury"
"Now I am fit again but Wojciech is doing well.”
He then went on to end by blatantly admitted that he was not happy with what he had become at the club and was going to work his way back, to try and become what he was last season.
"Of course I am not happy with my position because I want to be No. 1 but I have to accept it and fight for it. I am fighting really hard to get where I was before."
Arsenal have found a gem of a keeper in Szczesny, however should Fabianski be able to go on and produce a number of fine displays, then he could very well be named in the Gunners starting eleven once again and with both the keepers fighting for their spot,
