Luke Pomersbach penalised for missing state practice match – Cricket News Update
Western Australia’s batsman, Luke Pomersbach, has found himself in another bag of trouble after being slammed by the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA) with a disciplinary action for missing out on a state practice match, which was scheduled to
be played this Monday.
“The Western Australian Cricket Association is looking into a disciplinary breach by Retravision http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Stevens-c91368 Reserve in Fremantle, scheduled to commence yesterday,” the WACA
said in a statement.
The WACA official further added that the association will not be making any further comments on the matter until Pomersbach’s issue has been fully investigated and finalised.
However, it was also learnt that Pomersbach did not only miss Monday’s practice match, but had also been engaged into a verbal clash with Western Australia’s head coach, and the former South African national team’s instructor, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mickey-Arthur-c1969.
Pomersbach’s cricketer career now hangs in a balance, since two years ago the ‘enigmatic’ batsman had tossed himself in another career-ending situation that involved Pomersbach being banned from his state squad for six months.
In 2009, Pomersbach was suspended by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Western-Australia-c865 after pleading guilty for assaulting a police officer who was trying the arrest the Aussie cricketer for drunk driving and crashing his four-wheel vehicle.
Following his offence, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Thomas-Masson-Moody-c93654, who was the state Coach that year, stated that Pomersbach misconduct was a fiendish act and for the matter, the batsman was given ‘a last chance’ following which he would be sacked.
The player’s record of irresponsible conduct goes back till 2007, when he faced with his first suspension as a result of another alcohol related delinquency.
However, with Pomersbach’s career in strife, it is sad to see such negligence from a sportsman who could have matured into one of Australia’s potential talents.
Having played some exceptional cricket for almost half a decade, Pomersbach attained some exceptional statistics for his domestic side and In 2009, the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Lynette-Ann-Fullston-c73358 was awarded with the nation’s prestigious, Bradman Young Cricketer of the Year award at the annual
