Luke Wright defends his decision to play IPL - Cricket News Update
The out of favour England all-rounder, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/LJ-Wright-c1841, on Tuesday defended his decision to play in the recently concluded season five of the cash rich Indian Premier League saying that he enjoyed his stint with Pune Warriors India and would chose to play
in the esteemed Twenty20 tournament in future as well.
The 27-year-old Sussex all-rounder, who featured in only one of Pune’s 16 IPL games this season, missed five LV=County Championship matches at the start of the 2012 season while sitting idle on the sidelines in India. But the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 player had no
regrets about his decision and hoped to get another chance.
"In an ideal world I wouldn't be missing county cricket but that's just the way it is,” said the Sussex all-rounder in an interview with
BBC Sussex.

Wright missed a major part of the IPL-V because of illness. His lone IPL appearance for the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Delhi-c780 Daredevils at home last month, in which the English all-rounder did not get a chance to bat and returned wicketless, conceding
24 runs in two overs.
The Lincolnshire-born cricketer said that by playing in the Indian Premier League, one not only gets a chance to play with some of the best players in the world but also gets a fair idea of playing on the turning
tracks of subcontinent.
"It's an experience I really enjoyed," said the 27-year-old all-rounder who has played 46 One Day Internationals and 30 T20 Internationals for England.

"You're playing with some of the best players from around the world and get different ideas of how they do things in their countries. You also get an idea of playing somewhere like the sub-continent, where we're notoriously not amazing at playing,"
he added further.
Wright’s IPL franchise, Pune Warriors http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750, had a terrible IPL season, which saw them finishing at the bottom. The Sussex all-rounder hoped to get another chance to play few more games.
