Lump in stomach. please help.?

i don't know what it is but along my hip bone i have a long lump. it starts at the upper hip and ends at my lower hip bone. is it a pulled muscle ?

  1. If it doesn't hurt, doesn't feel bad, then no its not a pulled muscle. It could just be the muscle itself.


  2. It could either be a pulled muscle or it might be swollen lymph nodes. There is a strip of lymph nodes (3 I think)  that runs along that bone. They are the groin lymph nodes. If you tell a doctor it's a lymph node in your hip, they tell you they don't exist. ( they should know what you mean but I think they like to act superior sometimes. LOL) Anyway, If you are not tired or running a fever, I would imagine it is most likely a pulled muscle. If you start running a fever, go to the doctors.

      My daughter had a lump in that area and it turned out to be a groin lymph node. These swell up when the body is fighting off an infection of some sort. My daughters turned out to be shingles. She also had a rash on that hip that turned into shingles.
