A few weeks ago i noticed a lump on my horses tongue, quite far back (about inline with where his molars start). I hosed it down and suspected a bite or sting from either plant or wasp and it didn't seem to phase him. he was a little down in the dumps and initially lost a minute amount of weight (I guess it was sore). I kept a close eye on it, hosing it twice a day but he was eating and everything else is fine. the lump has decreased in size, but still hasn't gone,. and I haven't wanted to put his bridle on, incase the bit agitates it. Should I call the vet and get it checked out? He doesn't have anything else wrong with him and he's eating and drinking fine.
