Question:

Lunch and Breakfast foods??

I have a very hard time eating breakfast during the school year because I don't wake up very good, I'm not hungry, and I don't have time. Is drinking a glass of juice enough?? What would be some good breakfast foods for me that I could eat in about 10 min in the car on the way to school??

Our school lunch is nasty so I don't eat hot lunch and I don't like to bring my own lunch either because no other high schoolers bring a cold lunch and I don't like cold lunch. When I do bring something its just like a granola bar or something. What are some things I could bring to school to eat at lunch that don't need to be heated or kept cold?? Thanks!!

  1. Breakfast :

    Whole grain toast with peanut butter in addition to the oj.

    Yogurt w/ almonds

    Fruit smoothie (no milk)

    Granola Bar

    Protein Bar

    Lunch:

    Apple or banana w/one of those small containers of peanut butter

    Whole grain crackers & cheese

    Granola or Protein bar

    Trail mix

    A healthy snack as soon as possible after school would be beneficial, too (salad, steamed vegies, etc.) You should also take a multi-vitamin daily.
