Where are some cheap good places to eat lunch in Italy? What about breakfast? (Other than Mcdonald's)

italy is a big place.. but don't expect to find too many fastfood places for breakfast! Italians don't eat a cooked breakfast...Italy is famous for their 'bars' where italians drink their cappuccino and have a croissant or small sandwich. I coffee costs around 1 euro. There are bars absolutely everywhere. It really depends which part of Italy you're in, each part has their own local specialities...

And lunch? we're talking about italy! there are small restaurants that serve local food.. you can have great pasta, the best you've ever had, having lived in the states, for only 5 euros. You won't have any problems! Don't look for what you already know, eat Italian, and you'll fall in love...
