  1. Omg that's brought the memories flooding back.  20 years ago I worked in Charlotte Street (just behind Goodge Street station).  There used to be THE most amazing sandwich shop right next to the station - they did the best tuna sandwiches and fresh cream cakes ever.  I used to have to walk up the steps at the station, rather than take the lift, to make up for it - don't suppose you can do that any more.  Ahhh, those were the days ...

  2. pret a manger

    boots-which does meal deals

    several japanese restaurants

    cafe nero

    rasa N16

  3. At the top of Charlotte Street on one corner of Fitzroy Square in the Indian YMCA. On the ground floor they have their restaurant and all are welcome. There are usually three different curry-style dishes, all very good and really cheap in clean friendly cheerful surroundings.

  4. for a quick bite to eat head to pain du jour - cheap, quick and clean.

theres also cafe mizuna on charlotte street which is very good but pain du jour is reli good value for money!

    XOXO

  5. If you fancy something a little more substantial one lunch time, grab a co-worker and head to Ooze for some tasty risotto
