Question:

Lunch time for the kids! What should I give them?

I have 2 options:

1) I already have some things here. Fresh fruit salad, veggies and home made dip, and a tuna fish sandwich. Not only do they love this food, it was almost FREE (fruit and veggies from my garden).

2) I could drive 15 miles to McDonalds and get them fast food. With gas and food, it'll be around $20. And even though it's not as healthy, and it will probably give them a stomach ache (they're not used to it), at least I don't have to do anything but drive right?

(yes, this is in the right section. yes, there's an underlying point).

  1. I hear ya on the easy thing for only having to drive but then ya also have to get them all ready to go out and buckled in the car and in that timme you could have made the other healthier food and served it.  I would say go with option 1 and save option 2 for either a special occasion lunch or when you are out and about, they are hungry and screaming and you need something quick.

  2. I don't understand this question- obviously #1- it should always be #1.

  3. too many people would drive to mcdonald`s because they are just to lazy.

good for you for making the right choice.stay home feed them good for you food.

fast food is such a waste of time and money

  4. kids are important in this world. so i would pick option 1 because its not only healthy but it saves you money, do you know how much gas cost these dayys?

  5. Go with option one - fast food is never a good idea.  I only give it to my children in very rare circumstances (when traveling & the food we made has run out).

  6. Option 1 is free of "cons".  I'd go there.

  7. A tuna fish sandwich is a great option, and so is fruit. For a snack afterward, how about celery with peanut butter?
