  1. when you lust after a woman or man, it only means you want to get some hide off of them, and if your in love, you will do anything for that person and he or she is the most important person in your life, the 1 you will marry, to have kids to and love until 1 of you die.myself, i perfer love over lust, but when i was younger, with no brains, i went after who i could lay.

  2. ...when you miss them, do you miss being with them, and the little things they do. Or is the first thought I miss there body, t*t's, or s*x.

  3. If you cant get enough s*x, its lust. If you can't get enough s*x, and when your not having s*x you still like them, then its love.

  4. Lust is a basic urge, it has very little to do with an individual you are sharing it with. That is why practically anyone will do. Now love includes lust as well, but the difference is that you are only lusting after object of your affection. No one else is even remotely interesting to you, when you are in love.

  5. t he difference between love and lust is. when you are imaging or fantasizing about someone that is lust and that is a sin in god's eye. now love that a strong feeling for someone.

  6. I think that lust would be raw sexual attraction.  As in "d**n... I'd hit that."

Love would be wanting to be around that person for all sorts of other reasons (but likely including sexual attraction).  Being a shoulder to cry on; Accompanying them to the doctor because they're afraid of needles, etc.

What you're maybe thinking of would maybe be infatuation - being in love with the idea of someone.

  7. Lust is when you can't wait to get them in bed, love is when you can't wait to cook them breakfast the next morning.

In my opinion infatuation usually comes from being insecure of yourself or confused about another person. If the person is a complete mystery and you don't understand them it drives your need to know. There's something about them that you don't get, and you wanna get it.

  8. Lust is a feeling based purely on sexual want/sexual attraction. Love is a feeling based on having a deep connection wtih another person. Infatuation is kind of like obsession. Infatuation is usually self involved and essentially is a fantasy.

  9. Lust is wanting to be sexual with them, love is wanting to share life with them :)

  10. lust is something immediate. that's really the only way to tell the difference. i'm a firm believer in following that lust, though. it's there for a reason. lust often turns to love, when given time.

  11. Lust is mostly physical. The emotional attachment it forms is based on what you hope the person is like, rather than what they're really like. Lust could be described as being in love with the idea of someone.

Love is more of an actual emotional bond. Love is knowing exactly who someone is, and accepting them anyway, flaws and all. Love is wanting the best for someone, even if that means not being with you.

Lust is like the way you might feel toward a movie star. Love is more like the way you feel toward your best friend, but with the addition of romantic feelings.

Edit: Infatuation and lust are generally used in the same way, except that infatuation implies romantic fantasies while lust has more of a purely sexual connotation.
