I'm travelling with Easyjet from Edinburgh. I want to get into London quickly, easily and at reasonable cost.

Which airport is the best?

  1. Gatwick is always easy. Luton is a nightmare and Stansted is fairly unfamiliar to me, but other lads say not the best.

    I find Gatwick Express excellent!

  2. I would recommend Gatwick from where the Gatwick Express will get you to London Victoria in half an hour.

Stansted Express gets you from Stansted Airport to Liverpool Street in about 45 mins.

From Luton Airport Parkway, you can get to St. Pancras International in 45 mins but to get to the Parkway train station, you need to catch a bus from Luton Airport which takes about 15 min to the train station.

So choose the former 2 as the train stations are a brief walk from the airport terminals and are in fact connected via internal corridors. Hope this helps

  3. All depends on what part of London you're going to. Gatwick best for south London, Stanstead for north London, Luton for west London.

They're all about the same for central London; you can get coaches from all to Victoria or if you go by train you'll have to take the tube/bus/taxi to get into the centre of town.
