Hello

In September, i will be in London for a few days, for business. I'm looking for a very smart and comfortable hotel, offering ample amounts of top-notch services. The fees will be integrally covered by my company and they let me choosing the hotel I want. The hotel will be preferably located in the Kensington, Chelsea, Central or Mayfair areas.

I've had good feedback for the Metropolitan, Draycott or Hempel but I'd like to get your opinions also. Thank you.

  1. You might like to try using a short stay apartment instead which could be an interesting alternative - you'll get a lot more space and facilities (home from home more than a hotel) with the benefits of a hotel (i.e. not cleaning up after yourself!).

There are probably nearly as many options for luxury accommodation in apartments as there are in hotels. Some of the firms I've found are:

    http://www.silverdoor.co.uk

    This one is in Kensington:

Not sure whether this is something you've considered but they are perhaps worth investigating.

  2. stayed at the "Marriott Grosvenor Square"

recently remodeled and I highly suggest it

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! It's near oxford street (best shopping in London), some great restaurants, a small park, a short walk from hyde park, a very "business" hotel, great service and people.

Besides location, it's not the typical marriott....it's upscale and smaller then the normal huge marriotts...I suggest you look it up.
