  1. What typically will happen is that the insurance company will contact the PD, to have the accident report amended to show that you do not have insurance.

The file ill land on a traffic detective's desk, who will follow up on the case. Depending on the "insurance paper" that you give you might survive with a non insurance ticket and have your license suspended to the joys of facing felony forgery charges and obstruction of justice charges...

    Good luck.

  2. If you have no insurance, you will have to pay for the damages yourself.

It seems unlikely that the police will issue you a citation.  They do not check on insurance coverage.

  3. Well, first you are going to be out of pocket for $2,500 to fix the woman's car and whatever damage to yours.  Also, you wil probably be charged with driving without insurance if your state has laws against that.  Most states do.  You probably will not be in any additional problems from presenting the wrong insurance payments.  Dumb move on your part, but probably not any more additional charges since presenting the papers didn't actually create an advantage for you other than delaying the processing of the claim.  Hopefully, they were your papers, just out-of-date.

  4. You'll end up having a criminal case filed against you for the ficticious documents.

You have brought more trouble upon yourself than you ever thought of.

These type things always catch up with you.

  5. trouble. you will have to pay for the damage and pay a fine for not having insurance on your car..  and hope she does not try to sue you good luck

  6. Contact the person you hit and let them know you want to take care of their damages without further involvement of insurance companies....and then DO IT!

If you fail to pay for the damages, the other party can file a civil suit against you and win!

  7. Driving without insurance

having to pay the bill out of your own pocket

A ticket and fine for driving without insurance.  A very expensive mistake.

    Points on your license.

  8. You will have to pay the cost of repair out of pocket, and you will get a citation for uninsured motorist.

  9. You will have to pay the cost of damage to both cars>

  10. You will be given a ticket for driving without insurance.

You could also be fined for lying to the police and providing false information.

You will be liable for all the damage to the other person's car and for any medical expenses. Plus they could sue you for pain and suffering. Just because they didn't need an ambulance at the scene doesn't mean they weren't injured. They could have back or neck injuries. If the person misses work because of their injuries, you could be forced to pay for their missed wages. There is a very good chance that the other person's insurance company will cover them for all of their losses (car damage, medical bills, lost wages, rental car while their car is being repaired, and pain & suffering settlement), then their insurance company will sue you and have your wages garnished until they have been fully reembursed.

You will recieve no compensation for anything. You will have to pay to have your car fixed yourself, and if you are hurt you will have to pay for your own medical bills.

I recommend you contact a lawyer and start saving your money, you're going to need it to pay for things. I also hope you learn a lesson about why car insurance is so important.
