Lying cox representative?

my mom called cox earlier to order cox digital and asked the representative about digital converter boxes. the representative told her that if she gets a box for 4 rooms, that would be $150 for each box. but the site said the price is $5.25/month for 4 boxes. my mom's friend has cox digital and she said she is paying about $5.00/month for one box. if she gets a box for three other rooms besides the living room, what will be the price for each box?

Forget COX...if fios is in your neighborhood, get it. It is far superior to what ever cable is offering.

I don't know But I pay $ 99 per month for phone cable and internet, through cox, And I have cable in 4 rooms. It's like $104 after tax and it is for 3 services. I would ask to talk to a supervisor or ask to be a bundle customer.

There are boxes and there are boxes, you may be comparing apples with oranges. I can see a basic cable box to get most channels on an older tv being about $5 a month, the more advanced boxes will be higher, go back to the site and re-read it or better yet post a link so we can all read it.  I'm not a big tv watcher, get a limited lineup for $12 a month, no box.Internet is around $25 , around $40 after taxes etc.
