Lying to relatives about dating?

ok so everyone in my family had a kid in their teens (baring the ones who dont have kids) only one person has graduated and they are all very protective

well ive been datin this guy for 2 1/2 years (we're 16 about to be Jrs) and ive never told my family about him, he knows this and is starting to want to mee them. ive explained he cannot that he might get harmed but i dont think he gets it

my mom's husban called my mom a bad word around my uncle and my uncle beat him purple and and broke his nose, for calling her a bad word! and he's the nicer one too!

no one has intoduced their sig others unless there were prego, i dont what to take chances i like him.

how can i get him to drop the whole 'family meeting idea'?

Show him a picture of your mom's husband after he got beat up, that should do it.

if your hiding him, he must not be a good guy, what are you really hiding. Be honest, you earn respect and trust that way. its apart of growing up, and if you are honest regardless of he is disapproved by your relatives, you will have the respect and trust in the future of them to trust your judgment.
