Lynx 455 Garage door opener...Do you have one that you can look at....?

Question

I've got the above unit in pieces, and need to know which wires go on which terminals.

There are seven reminals on the back.....

There are two pushbutton wires....three receiver wires....and two electric eye wires.....

If anyone could pass on the information I'd be grateful.....

There's no information on line, and Lynx is not returning e mails

Somewhere around here I must have a schematic. I will look. Remember all these are low voltage so it is difficult to destroy anything. Start with the PB wires. Unless the PB is lighted polarity will not matter. As to the radio, the terminals are probably marked 24V, relay, and radio power. The first two key the opener on, just as the PB terminals do. As to the eye wires, you can have different arrangements. Either one single pair or a pair from each eye. Polarity will usually matter on these. One last thing, on the radio the receiver will normally have three lugs on it that simply clip onto the three terminals. And Lynx never returns mail. Have fun! Post more info and I can tell you more.
