Lack of playing time at Paris Saint-Germain has left Clemet Chantome frustrated and the midfielder has expressed his desire to leave the capital club in order to get more first-team football
Despite enduring a mixed season at PSG, Clement Chantome is viewed as a promising prospect and many clubs are in the race to attain the services of the youngster if he leaves Les Parisiens.
Marseille have already made several attempts in the past to sign the midfielder and now, LOSC Lille and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-Lyonnais-c40130 are reportedly in the market for the Frenchman.
However, Paris Saint-Germain are not interested in selling their player who they think still have a future at the capital club. Chantome is still in Carlo Ancelotti’s plans and the PSG boss wants to keep the youngster at the club to keep his bench strong
as they will be playing in the Champions League this season.
According to player’s representatives, Clement Chantome does not want to stay at the club just as a squad player. The 24-year-old wants first team football to improve his game and that seem impossible if he stays at PSG.
According to reports, Les Parisiens might agree on a loan deal. PSG have made it clear that they do not want to sell their player who has a promising future and has a lot to offer. Hence a loan deal seems a likely solution which would be acceptable by all
parties.
The Frenchman managed to make 15 appearances for the capital club. The 24-yeal-old was usually deployed in the holding midfield position. Although he failed to score any league goal in 2011/2012 campaign, Chantome provided couple of assists for his team
mates and his overall distribution was vital in the team’s success.
It is still uncertain whether the youngster would be allowed to leave the Ile giants. However, great things are expected from a player who can play in more than one position. In the current scenario, a loan deal would be the best option for the player as
it will help the Frenchman to improve his game and that will eventually benefit his parent club, Paris Saint-Germain.
