The versatile Dijon midfielder has been in fine form this campaign for the Burgundy club and could be set for a move to Olympique Lyonnais this summer
Benjamin Corgnet has been one of the revelations of the season. The attacking midfielder joined Dijon FCO in 2010 and in his first campaign for the Burgundians, helped them secure a return to Ligue 1 football.
This season, the 25-year-old has been in fine form indeed and has scored 8 goals in 28 Ligue 1 matches and has also provided 2 assists.

“I have not decided, I do not know if my future will be in France or abroad,” said the midfielder in March.
However, Paris claims that the Dijon man is all set to continue his career in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 but it won’t be at Dijon. As things stand, Dijon are likely to be playing in Ligue 2 next season. Currently, the club is in 19th place in the league and a point
away from 17th placed Stade Brestois.

to bring the player to Stade de Gerland.
Though Corgnet looks to be a bargain, Dijon will not be looking to part ways with their best player so easily. The club wants atleast 6 million Euros for the services of the player which isn’t that expensive.
However, Olympique Lyonnais were not really active in the transfer window last summer so a lot of bargaining could be on the horizon this summer.
Though the financial aspect is a bit tricky, OL do have an advantage of the player’s preference. Corgnet is apparently keen on playing for Lyon so the player’s decision would also play a big role in whether Lyon are able to sign him or not.
