Club owner, Jean-Michel Aulas, has refused to sell their prised asset for less than 16 million Pounds and has stated that the player will only be sold if a club meets their asking price for him.
Tottenham Hotspur, on the other hand, are only willing to pay 12 million Pounds for the shot-stopper and are reluctant to increase their offer.
Jean-Michel Aulas has stated that he respect Lloris’ wish to play for a top European club but added that the club will not back off from their asking price for the France international.

While talking to reporters, the president admitted that Les Gones have received an offer from the London giants but revealed that their bid was quickly rejected.
Aulas stated that Spurs’ bid was below par their demands and the Rhone giants will not do business with them unless they raise their offer for the 25-year-old.
"This year there was an approach from Tottenham that was quickly rejected. If he absolutely wants to leave, we will look at the proposals but they must be consistent with what we want. If not, he will stay," the 63-year-old told reporters.
