Bernard Lacombe knows that in order to buy new players, Lyon need to sell few of their star players. Hugo Lloris could be sacrificed for that cause. According to Lacombe, AC Milan’s interest in the France number 1 is well known to everyone but so far Les Gones have not received any offer for the Frenchman.
While talking to reporters, Bernard Lacombe refused to confirm that Hugo Lloris and star striker Lisandro Lopez will stay at the club. As Lyon are in need of cash, most feasible way to achieve that is to sell some players. However, the Frenchman vowed to retain the star duo at the club but stated that the future is uncertain for both players.
“I cannot confirm that we will retain Lisandro and Lloris. We cannot term any player as non-transferable. And as you all know, Lyon need cash to invest in the market.”
Bernard Lacombe stated that at the moment there is still no solid offer for Lloris and Lopez.
“Right now players are off to Euros. After the tournament, president and the coach will sit down and they will monitor the situation.”
Like Lloris, another player who is a major transfer target for an Italian side is Lisandro Lopez, who is on the top of AS http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603’s wish list. However, Les Gones would be reluctant to part ways with their most prolific striker. According to Bernard Lacombe, only a big money offer will force OM to sell the Argentine international.
