Lyric poem contest?

Write a lyric poem with irregular or regular stanzas that reflect your feelings toward your neighborhood. Make sure you: express the thoughts and feelings of a single speaker,a musical quality (harmonious sound),a focus on single image or idea, and last but not least your poem must be at least 10 lines. Best poem gets the 10 points.Good luck!

You don’t know what to say

Your whole life has been thrown away

By the choices you have made

You have hurt the ones around you

And they despise of you

They know can’t look up to you

Know you look down on them

But you know

It’s gonna to be alright

Even though your entire life has been changed

He can help you through it

Backtrack the choices you have made and then you say

Ok

A couple of months go by

Further along in your life

You get up each day and live the life you almost didn’t have

Hour by Hour

Day by day

And each day you say

Its gonna be alright

Now your entire life will forever be changed

He helped you get through those long hard days

As long as you say ok

Becoming the person you wanted to be

Was extra hard for you

But you got though it

Yea you did

So know you can say

I’m ok
