Lyrical Dancers help.?

If you dance lyrical think of some lyrical moves that you might do because I will be teaching solos this year and I need some more stuff than what I already have. So if you can help please do. Thanks!

  1. It depends on the technical ability of the dancer you're making a solo for. There's always ellipses, leaps, and all sorts of turns. Cater to the dancer's capability. Also, a shorter dancer should do moves that elongate the body, while a longer dancer can do extensions that will blow an audience out of the water. Hope this helps!


  2. the best way to find moves is youtube performances. there are some really interesting moves that look very cool on stage.  Obviously don't copy the choreography but grab a move here and there to get away from the typical turns, leaps and kicks. Good luck! Lyrical is my favorite form of dance by far :)
