Its a guy rapping and a girl singing. My mom said the girl was on american idol but didnt win. The main part of the song goes "i dont wanna gain the whole world and lose my soul" its a beautiful song. Does anyone know who sings it?

I couldn't find any songs with that first part but I think the song may be "Lose My Soul" from Toby Mac.

Yea, I love that song. It's by Toby Mac and Kirk Franklin has a part in it. The girl is Mandisa. "Lose Your Soul" is the title, correct.
