M 26 weeks pregnant...want to know the weight of my baby..?

i have the scan reports...but dunno howto readit..i men there r terms lkeBPD,OFD,FC etc....how do i know what is the weght of my baby...so that i can chk with the general standard weight!!jus curious to know if my baby is the right weight or not!!any one who knows how to read the scans...

  1. I don't see how they can weigh your baby when it's still in the womb.  Don't stress about these things, you've got a long way to go and babies all develop at different rates.  Just take it as it comes and enjoy the experience.

  3. On average, a 26 week baby would weigh about 1.5 lbs.

    You won't know even with the ultrasound, because those aren't accurate and can be well off the actual weight.

  4. I had mine at 22 weeks and at the bottom of the measurements was the weight. She was 1lb 3oz already. didnt have this in my past three pregnancies. It is something to do with calculating the abdominal circumference plus head circumference plus femur length but not sure how they do the math

    be aware that babies grow at different rates and dont get hung up on its weight if otherwise its healthy x*x
