Ok so I got an M.I.P. two days ago and my mom is freaking out saying we have to spend 3000 on an autorney and all this stuff.

The story is i went to the river to give my friend his sunglasses while i was on my way to my dads, him and a few others had a bong on the beach and were smoking but I was not. Park rangers came and took all are names and called the cops. A cop came with his dog and searched me and my car but found nothing. Then they told us we were all getting M.I.P.'s. I am 16 and live in Washington and the next day i went to the hospital and passed a drug test. Don't you think I could beat this in court and my mom is over reacting?

  1. If what you say is true you are not guilty of being a minor in posession.

I definitely recommend that you hire the attorney and follow his recommendations to the letter.

  2. I've seen someone in this position before. You should be okay, if what you say is true. Generally if you pass a drug test they look favorably on you. And court can be expensive so guilty or not, its costly.
