well yes you can...

use any hair oil and apply it half an hour before you wash them..

you can also use amla and raw milk for that

use coconut oil in summers n almond oil in winters n oil ur hair atleast 3 times a week. n especially a night b4 washing them.

use dove shampoo n conditioners n use livon or sum other hair gloss only 4 a party. use it occasionally

I have curly hair as will and I use Garnier Fructis Curl & Shine shampoo/conditioner then while my hair is damp I put scrunch with their styling paste and then dry with a difussor then put in their frizz oil and my hair is soft and bouncy not a frizz ball uncontrolled curl

My understanding of your question is that you want to make your curly hair soft. I have family that has extremely curly hair and the way they maintain it is washing it with shampoo that says for dry hair then appling conditioner, then with a third product, by appling a leave-in conditioner. And if you go to a store such as "Sallys" there are many different products that will help get your hair soft.

If you want to make your hair softer, it really depends on the style of curly hair you have.  For really, really curly hair I would suggest a soft relaxer.  It will straighten the roots and leave your hair a little bit more managable.

If your hair is mildly curly, then I would suggest not using things like gel, hairspray, or mousse.  Instead, switch to a wax based form of pomade which will start to soften your hair while still managing frizz.
