M going to bulid a pond

im going to ask this one last time

ok i want to build a pond for my to feeder goldfish first off should i have more than just 2 next how big should the pond be and what all do i need last off what do i do during the winter like if it snows really bad i know puting a tarp over it i know putting extra rock but will that work in alot of snow and i dont think a filter could work
