I have a mole that I'm going to get removed soon.

Anyway somebody told me if you get a mole removed another 1 may grow back in the same area.

What are the chances of that happening? Is it 50/50 or something?

  1. That somebody is a liar. That's not true. But if you expose your skin too much sun then there are possibilities you'll get moles.

  2. its not really about chance, its more about yourself and your skin and how much sun you get

  3. If you get a mole removed it should not come back. If it does get it looked at. Moles are caused by the melanin in the skin, if the melanin is removed it shouldnt grow back. If it does its overactive and could be a form of skin cancer.

  4. It's about a 50/50 chance. I had a mole removed on my face and it grew back. I should say it grew back sort of clear instead of brown but it DID grow back. I have pics to prove it.

  5. like 60/40 :)
