Government propose to increase the toll for cars from £1 to £1-50, Claiming this will reduce congestion.What a load of rubbish. Not content with refusing to take action in respect of fuel prices, They are once more going to kick the motorist in the teeth yet again

Let's make one thing clear.

Charging a toll for vehicles to cross a road bridge is an ENGLISH thing.

In Scotland, the Scottish National Party abolished all tolls on bridges shortly after gaining control of the Scottish Parliament.

Well spotted sapper... Government runs low on cash after investing in such fine projects as imigration, consultants, spin doctors and ferro- Roche chocolate's (for entertaining at the ambassadors party) also not forgetting bailing out all the greedy boys in the city. So they hit on the good old 'cash cow' the motorist again...

What a load of rubbish, its to make more money as it will still be cheaper to cross there than going about 40 miles more to get to the same place.

Seems crazy to me, considering in the original proposal for this bridge, that once it had been paid for from tolls generated that it would become toll free and it must have paid for itself by now........
