M4p/mp3 format help???

Question

ok, i used i tunes and got music off of it and the music is in 'm4p' format and i have never heard of that but anyway, i was wondering if there is anyway to change the format of the songs to mp3 format.

any help or suggestions are welcome and appreciated. Thank you for your time!!!

As I know iTunes downloaded music files (M4P) have DRM protection which prevent users from playing iTunes media with other incompatible players such as PSP, Zune, Creative Zen, etc.

So, you need a DRM converter to convert the M4P to MP3 to put it on your phone:

Right click the file in iTunes and select "Show in Windows Explorer".

highlight the song(s) you want to be changed and then right click. you will see a thing pop up that says change selection to mp3 click on that and it converts it. it does take a while

Don't worry about the .m4p extension on the file. This is just the new filename for MPEG 4 (.mp3 standing for MPEG 3) this just bring a whole host of benefits to your files like, greater compression with less loss in quality and smaller file sizes. It is not really nessosery to change your files into .mp3 as you will probably make the songs sound worse.

If you still want to do this then its simple and can all be done within iTunes itself. Choose the songs you want to change, right click on them and press 'Convert to MP3'

Best way to get it, type it in Google adding "torrent" afterwards, do a search, open with uTorrent and download.

Ive used the application before, and it worked very well.
