M5 Motorway Traffic southbound, peak season

Question

Does anybody have an idea as to when The M5 motorway heading southbound gets busy?

As i am going on holiday this saturday and just wondered what time i should leave, to miss queueing traffic.

hi clare its des had to slighty change my name as i was getting stalked on here hows the horse racing going ? did you ever go to a point to point ? and have got that degree in maths yet ? anyway i use the M5 alot so can probly give you some decent advice i take it your coming from northants ? so your probly joining the M5 around the M42 or even a bit further down such as worcester anyway clare the weather will have alot to do with how busy it gets so if uless its a scorching hot day you should have a decent run the hot spots are juntion 1 then j 7 then it  gets busy at 19 and 20 which is bristol then again at weston super mare then again at 30 towards exeter my guess is that you may have a clear run if its a cloudy day as the sun seems to get everyone in the car im using the M5  tonight between birmingham and avonmouth then back again (fri) anyway clare have a nice holiday down in cornwall or devon or were ever you go and let me no if you fancy a nice horse in the future !!!! takecare. des.

Saturday should be ok I think. Usually you get the jams on Friday and Sunday.
