MAC cult of cherry quad?

I was wondering if you can take out the shadows in the quad once there empty and put other depotted shadows into it?

you cant do it without breaking the main packaging, i remember watching a video about it

No those will break. You might want to buy MAC's 15 Pro Colour Palette. You can purchase them at the pro store.
