MAC osx 10.3.9 to Tiger?

Question

When I change from 10.3 to Tiger.... Do i JUST stick in the CD rom insatll and boot...or do I have to change anything else ????

I have a G3 ' pismo' lap top

Assuming you've checked that Tiger will actually run on your machine, yeah, just install. However, you've a couple of options, whether you get it to do a completely new installation (which will wipe any relevant preferences you've set) or upgrade your Panther system. I fresh install is always cleaner.
