  1. Get your credit report and check that first.  If there is something on it you need to dispute then do so.  The company has to provide you with information on the account they supposdly have within a certain amount of days.  If they cannot provide the information you can request to have it removed from your report and once that is done they shouldn't contact you again.  You also need to check the report to make sure that the settlement was put on it and the account is marked closed.

  2. First off - DO NOT speak to these people on the phone - they are aggressive, rude and ignorant.  communicate only in writing, but first visit

they have lots of very helpful people and data regarding these people.

    Lots of luck

  3. mckenzie hall buy up old debts from credit firms that have not managed to recover their money. they use scare tactics to get you to pay and become rather aggressive with you when dealing with them.

try googling them to get other peoples' experiences when dealing with them like this one

personally, i would just ignore them. once you make contact with them they will continue to hassle you until you pay, even if you phone to tell them that the person they are looking for no longer lives at your address. they become nasty and won't take your word for it that you are not the person.

  4. Sounds like you have been cloned, you definitely need a licenced financial consultant to help you
