MADELAINE McCANN SIGHTINGS. Are you with me on this??????

I keep reading about people who know they have seen Maddie.

1- You're walking along and you truly believe you see her. Any normal person would approach and speak to whoever she was with. If they in anyway acted oddly, tried running off etc, you would grab hold of her and shout for some one to get the Police. AGREED???

2- Let's put it another way, you're out with your little girl and someone approaches you and says they believe that your little girl is Maddie. So you'd happily obblige to stay whilst the police arrive and you prove she is not. AGREED????

SO WHY ISN'T THIS HAPPENING WHEN THERE IS ALL THESE SIGHTINGS????? WHY????

had the same conversation this morning with my hubby and we also agree if i thought i saw her i would definately phone the police and keep hold of her, makes me think they are not true sightings

perhaps they don't want to thought of as abductors, paedophiles, who knows, what one might do in the circumstances. Why do people ignore a child being battered by a parent even when you see or know it happens, because they don't want to get involved.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of unstable and cruely psychotic people in this world and when you get 500 "sightings" you have to know that at least 499 of them are FALSE.

It's quite likely too that the police forces already know what happened to that girl, that there are higher forces than them at work, beyond their control, and they are arm-twisted into shutting up and taking the investigation one way rather than chasing down the bad guys.  It's so easy to make the parents the victims and turn everyone's sights away from what really happened but the truth is she was kidnapped.

A woman saw her, the girl said my name is Madeleine and I was taken from my parents in a hotel....and no one followed up.  Twice it happened actually.  It's such an atrocity.

Pedophiles are everywhere even within our own governments and children are forced into s*x markets here too don't you deny it.

There should be some kind of international task force that is deployed any time there is a child kidnapping or high profile murder of such magnititudes so that they have jurisdiction to immediately investigate and have access to all police records.  Perhaps there already is but they simply have no power or not enough manpower.

I so agree with you. If you really thought it was Maddie, you would do something. Take a picture with your mobile, call police or follow the people to their car or whatever. Get as many details as possible, description of the people she is with, anything that would help the police. I just do not understand.

if i was out with my little girl and was approached by someone saying i had maddie , i would not be happy. i would not stay and wait for the police because i know i havent got maddie.

and if anyone actually touched her i would punch them in the face.

That's a very interesting and valid argument.  BUT...say you did do the heroic thing, you suspected the person of abducting the child, so you made a grab for the kid.  One of a few things could happen.  

1.  The adult who had the child could counter-charge you with attempting to abduct their child.

2.  Or more likely, would be if they were an abductor, the would do all they could to protect their "charge" and could suddenly stab or shoot you in order to do that.

3.  IF (hypothetically speaking) you were a child abductor, and you were trying to hide a child whom you knew had been in the world's media spotlight for over a year, you knew almost everyone was looking for that child, would you want to be seen out in public in broad daylight with that child?

So in my opinion, those "sightings" are just false hope.

Agreed - You would have thought someone would have grabbed her and called the police. Whats stopping them, they are in a busy place and they would become an international hero. You would think someone would do something.

They kidnapped a child and there's a huge price on their head and the prospect of years in jail.They might kill you stone dead on the spot.Still want to grab her?

We all carry mobiles.I'd take a pic then phone the police and follow them at a distance until the police could get there.If you lost them you'd have the pic with the trail at least still hot.

Its so sad :( I agree with you. If i was that girl working in the shop i definitely would of called the police while she was there instead of letting her go! On the other hand..id like to think that's what i would do. But i guess if your in shock you don't really know what to do at the moment. There are also a lot of people out there who are willing to do anything to get there names in the paper and make money by selling a story. So a lot of these sightings could be false! I just hope she is found

The person may be armed - I mean, they stole a child and are probably pawning her. They're capable of anything. I wouldn't approach them. I can see what you mean though, although I suppose people look out for themselves and IF they're telling the truth, they may have think they've done their bit by reporting a sighting, if they think they have.

Although, I'm not going to be in denial, or naive - I KNOW that people have lied about sightings of her. And that's disgusting.

I just really hope that if she's still alive, she's being taken care of x :(

You would grab the child and shout for someone to call the police??

No doubt, that the person/people who kidnapped her, have bodyguards of their own or people watching their backs, i mean, two or three days after theres a massive uproar about a child being taken - maddie is seen in  a petrol station and in shops with some woman??

You woudnt parade her around, you'd do your damndest to keep her hidden - therefore i think, if it was maddie - there are people all around protecting the kidnappers, people in the shops that look like innocent shoppers or by passers but are actually part of the "we've got maddie" group.... i wouldn't grab the child and shout for help when the only people who can hear you are the people involved - i mean, who's to say the police arent in on it.... they're all bent crooks these days anyway - i mean, why else keep the fact that someone has seen maddie from the parents?? I dont think its a case of "A paedo ring/cult" has got maddie, i think there is this huge conspiracy that everyone is over looking... i am convinced the "detectives" are in on it aswell, i mean, whats their excuse for such lame efforts to find a child... so, therefore, i would not grab the child and shout for help, i would snatch her just like they snatched her and run somewhere, quickly, lock myself and her away in a dark room and keep calling people until her actual parents are on the phone and ready to come to retrieve her....
