  1. You could spend time trying to fix your table or just start new.

Go to lowes or home depot and get yourslef 3/4 mdf board.  Its thick and sturdy.  Cut the table to 2' x 8' form.  Rip in half since you need transporting.  Put hinges on the bottom and place 2 inch strips in between hinges so when the table is fully open it rest on the strips for support.  For the legs you can use anything.  I used saw horses for mine.  Depedning on your application.  You might not even want the strip under the table for support because you can just sit the table on top of another table and play.  Thats what most of us do.

Good luck and remember, its a drinking game you dont have to get crazy with it

  2. All this just for a beer pong table?  I wouldhave just bought a ping pong table (which folds), and used that.  Now, you have a beer pong and ping pong table all in one.

Another option would have been to just buy 1 or 2 of those cheaper plastic tables they sell everywhere now.  Their light, cheap, legs fold up, and roughly 6' or so.  I've played many a games on this kind of table.
