MAKEUP! please help!?

Question

hey, i was just wondering if anyone could help me find a nice look for my makeup. I dont really wear alot of face makeup ( mostly mineral powders) , and almost never wear eye makeup. I'm 14 and i was just wondering if anyone knew what products i could use to conceal my acne, and brighten my eyes. I dont like eyeliner all that much, and i just wanted some advice, tricks, or opions. I dont want an outgoing look, more subtle and natural! thanks! ♥ =D

I would suggest a Great Lash's Soft Black mascara for mascara.  It is really soft and not noticable.  Usually a soft pink goes well for everyone for eye shadow.  I would use a rosy pink blush and soft pink lip gloss.  I have a special trick for lip gloss.  Put one layer of chap stick on your lips, then the lipgloss.  It doesn't feel as sticky.  :]

Okay well to conceal redness/acne the best thing to use is a foundation. It evens out the skin tone and makes it all look one color. I would suggest covergirl "clean" makeup foundation. Then use covergirl concealer over some pimples or redness. Also- apply this with a makeup sponge, they have these at cvs. Then to set the makeup use a loose powder, it really makes you look airbrushed and makes your skin glowy. All these can be covergirl i have used alot of makeup and theirs are usually the best. Remember to put concealer under the eye as well and some powder. White eyeliner brightens the eye- also a cream eyeshadow. And some lipgloss with a little color to it really pulls it all together and makes your look brighter.

I completely agree with you on the subtle and natural look considering how young you are. I think that is a wise choice, I hate seeing younger girls with tons on eye makeup on, it looks REALLY bad.

I think mineral powders are a good choice if you don't have a lot of acne but if you do then I would suggest getting concealer and foundation that's good for your skin. Some of them actually help treat acne, I use Almay Clear Complection.

First I dab the concealer onto problem areas such as zits and I also but a little to cover my under eye circles. Then I put liquid foundation over it (blend well!) Then top if off with a loose powder to prevent shine. If you want you can add a little blush or a light bronzer. Another way to brighten your eyes is to get a light colored eyeshadow and dap some in the inner corners of your eyes.

If you don't want to wear eyeliner I would at least use mascara. Sometimes black eyeliner looks very harsh and trashy so I would suggest a brown color. Buy loreal (dark brown) mascara and liquid liner. Don't put the liner on the bottom, line your upper lids right above your lashes. It will look make your lashes look thick and lucious but it will look natural.

my makeup that i use and love is from avedda, i use the powder foundation and the blush, i use mascara sometimes, and lip gloss. Thats pretty much it.
