MAO inhibitors and constipation.?

What are some options that you use for relief if you are having constipation as a result of taking MAO inhibitors? Particularly Parnate.

to see your Doctor that gave them to you as that is a side effect that he or she needs to be made aware of perhaps that is not the correct medication for you,

Whenever you start a medication, you are going to get a least one side effect.  If it's a new thing, the side effect should go away eventually.  If not, see the doc and see if there's another medication that works the same but without the side effects.
