I have a 1992 Chevy Lumina, a friend and I replace the intake manifold gaskets, we have everything back together, except can't find the wire for the MAP Sensor....of course it won't start without it...any suggestions? Where does that wiring actually run from before it connects to the back of the intake manifold?

  1. Check under the upper intake plenum. It is part of the small harness for the fuel injectors. You might have to remove the upper intake again to find it, but if you careful you can reuse the new gasket.

  2. it comes from under the upper intake you  will have to loosen the upper intake to get it out

  3. You might look behind the distributor around the transmission . Took a good look and make sure that it did'nt get push under the valve cover. Also make sure you did'nt put it under a wire on the fire wall.

  4. check behind the motor under the intake  if i recall it is in the same harness that has your IAC, TPS, and something else with it.  but start with that wiring harness where it comes from the ecm to the TPS and IAC and you should find it...
