  1. Illegal everywhere in Canada. Also de-criminalized in all parts of Canada, which means that you are treated like its a traffic ticket for simple possession. Dealing or holding amounts that could be considered large enough for dealing will probably get you jail time. Trying to transport it across international borders will get you jail time. Cultivation for sale will probably get you jail time and you could forfeit property associated with sale and cultivation.

  2. is it illegal.

actually, its legal till you get caught.

so if you wanna do it in your basement or in a park away from the public go ahead but its at your own risk.

you can get in big trouble if you sell/grow your own MJ

if you are caught with possession you can get fined depending on how much you have, if its your first time, etc etc... there are many factors.

  3. I live in Canada and it is NOT legal.

  4. I can assure you that marijuana  IS ILLEGAL in Canada .

  5. It's completely illegal.

But in some places it's tolerated.  The police and judges usualy have better things to do so potheads usualy just loose there pot.  I suspect that most people convicted of possession were doing something else illegal and the prosecutor just wanted to increase their sentence.

  6. I'm sorry but i'm sick of this question. People keep asking me if it's legal and it's not. The only way you can get away with it is if you are going through cancer..and even then they don't just hand it out.

  7. It is illegal in Canada. It is also illegal to run red lights and to drop litter on the sidewalks, but people do that too. But with all three of those items, if you get caught, you get in trouble. You get fined. You get a record.

There is a small caveat - a few people are permitted to grow medical marijuana for their own personal use. They have to be certified by a physician, and they are only allowed to produce enough for the amount the physician prescribes for their daily use. They can not 'accidentally' grow a little extra for a friend or their medical exemption is taken away.

  8. I went up to Toronto a few years ago and burned right in the middle of a head shop with a guy that worked there. We smoked out of the volcano vaporizer display model, baked the entire store. People were walking in off the street to buy ciggs and never gave us a second look. The guy said it's pretty excepted and they never get hassled.

You could buy seeds there at the time and you can't anymore. So IDK how it is up there now.

  9. It is not legal, but it is dicriminalized.  Meaning if a cop busts you with a joint, they might confiscate it and put you on your way but most likely just tell you to put it away and go somewhere private.  Most of them don't even care as long as you are being subtle about it.  Meaning don't go out in front of McDonald's in the middle of the day and spark one up.  But I mean we always smoke in our driveway and cops drive by here all the time, it's not a huge problem.  The only time they will care is if they catch you dealing, or catch you with a large amount (then they will assume you are dealing).  And unless you are a kingpin that will usually result in a misdermeanor charge and a huge fine.  Growing is not legal under any circumstances and that WILL result in jail time.

But for some recreational use, no problems.
