I doubt your in the United States Army, becuase what you said was not accurate..... Be it the FACT that I am in the Army and I asked this question for a nephew of mines.... I say you aren't in the army because of the fact that the army allows you to have visible tattoos and this is because of that fact that I see new privates coming in with tattoos on the neck and behind the ears..... Not to include the fact that I have 14 myself and all were recorded at MEPS..... Please people.... I only need educated TRUE AND HONEST Answers..... People with some knowledge.....

  1. I am in the army, but I am sure that the regulations are similar. The restrictions say that you can not have any tattoos that will show while in dress uniform (basically like wearing a suit or a tux). Also any tattoos that are extremist, indecent, sexist, or racist are prohibited regardless of where they are on your body. If you have any that would fall under any of those categories, the military does usually offer free removal of theses tattoos...but that can be pain full.

I am including 2 web sights. The first is the army tattoo policy, and the second is about the marine tattoo policy.
