  1. try just plugging in the numbers and continuing the problem as if it were a regular problem.

    for ex.

    a-1/2b^3

    (1/3)-(1/2)(-2/3)^3

    (1/3)-(1/2)(-8/27)

    (1/3)-(-8/54)       ------    -(-8/54) = +(4/27)

    (1/3)+(4/27)

get them to have the same denominator.    1/3= 9/27

    (9/27)+(4/27)

    13/27

    the answer is 13/27

  2. Well i always go here when i need help in Algebra

  3. Just plug the numbers back into the equation and if you have a graphing calculator like a T-(which ever model) just plug the equation straight into it and it will give you the answer....
